About getSkilled
getSkilled is a Portuguese training project created in February of 2012. Its main purpose is to develop activities and training to provide experiences that capitalize the development of interpersonal and behavioral competencies (commonly known as soft-skills) in young people and students. In order to achieve its purpose, the environment of getSkilled training sessions and workshops is very dynamic and every session ends up being unique. The teaching approach is based on experiential learning techniques and inspired by the non-formal education movement. All the sessions are very practical, with a lot of exercises, and there is a great interaction between trainers and trainees. The learning is centered on the trainee and the trainer, most of the time, takes the role of a facilitator of learning instead of taking the role of a teacher or a speaker.
