Die GEVAG betreibt im Kehrichtheizkraftwerk Trimmis die energetische Verwertung und das thermische Recycling von Abfällen aus Haushalten, Industrie und Gewerbe. Aus der im Abfall enthaltenen Energie produzie-ren wir CO2-neutrale Fernwärme, Dampf und Strom für Private und Unter-nehmen. Recyclingstoffe werden in den stofflichen Kreislauf zurückge-führt. Die GEVAG ist als grösster Fernwärmeproduzent im Churer Rheintal ein wichtiger Partner in der Umsetzung der Klimastrategie und des «Green Deal» im Kanton Graubünden.
