GFRP Tech is the only manufacturer of GFRP products in the region. The worldwide demand for GFRP is rapidly climbing and structural engineers and architects in South Africa and across the African region, are increasingly requesting GFRP products in their designs. Although there are a small number of importers of GFRP products into the region, the long lead times coupled with not meeting any of the South African civil engineering standards results in them only being used in non-structural projects.
