Developing projects for the absorption of CO2 is a concrete way to fight climate change;
Voluntary initiatives aimed at the reduction, compensation, and absorption of greenhouse gases are assuming increasing importance and the different actors of the system (stakeholders) need to relate to them for commercial, informational, regulatory, and scientific purposes, on the solid basis of shared principles of trustworthiness and reliability.
