We believe pricing a public good is the best way to give it a value; Carbon markets are considered one of the most efficient and effective ways to implement solutions to climate change. Research indicates that carbon credits and international markets allowing for their trade could save USD $250 billion on the path to reducing carbon emissions while at the same time accelerating technical innovations and related economic growth activity. Developing projects for the absorption of CO2 is a concrete way to fight climate change; Voluntary initiatives aimed at the reduction, compensation, and absorption of greenhouse gases are assuming increasing importance and the different actors of the system (stakeholders) need to relate to them for commercial, informational, regulatory, and scientific purposes, on the solid basis of shared principles of trustworthiness and reliability.
