The Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Service, established under the Pre-Tertiary Education Act 2020 (Act 1049), is a corporate body mandated to manage, oversee, and implement national policies and programs on pre-tertiary technical and vocational education and training.
As part of this mandate, TVET institutions previously under nine different ministries—such as GES-TVED, NVTI, GRATIS, and Youth Leadership Training Institutes—have been realigned under the Ministry of Education and are now managed by the Ghana TVET Service.
