GHW are an independent practice whose aim is to provide a personal Consulting Civil and Structural Engineering service to the construction industry, from early advice, through to full 2D/3D design and detailing. We also guarantee a director’s involvement in each project to help deliver BUILDABLE, VALUE ENGINEERED SOLUTIONS.
Operating nationwide, from our centrally located office in Sutton Coldfield, we were established in 2007 by two chartered Civil and Structural Engineer Directors, who collectively now have over 60 years of experience in the industry.
Our experience in all aspects of small to medium sized projects, allows us to provide a combined approach to the Civil and Structural design, rather than viewing them separately.
By providing a proactive, high quality civil and structural engineering service, GHW are proud to have been responsible for assisting clients and their teams deliver projects in a wide range of sectors, including commercial, ecclesiastical, residential, retail, industrial, leisure, education and healthcare.
We provide Substructure, Superstructure, SUDs Drainage, Vehicle Tracking and Highway Engineering advice, design and detailing. We often provide early input at the inception of the project, to provide SUDS drainage strategies and Flood Risk Assessments, which assists clients to gain planning approval.
We use the latest 3D software such as Tekla for super structures, together with InfoDrainage and Civils 3D for drainage and infrastructure, to ensure that all projects meet our client’s aspirations, and our designs are integrated into other consultant’s designs.
