Gida is a survivor-centered housing access feature within a larger product ecosystem designed to support safety, privacy, and healing. We help survivors of domestic and gender-based violence access short- and long-term housing by connecting trusted service providers with real estate service providers (RSPs) through a secure, tech-enabled referral system. Gida is not a public listing platform — it is a discreet, referral-based housing feature that centers survivor dignity and prioritizes trauma-informed care. 🔒 How Gida Works: • Access is referral-only, ensuring survivor privacy and control • Survivors are matched with real-time, vetted housing options from aligned RSPs • An embedded AI assistant offers voice/text-based support and safety check-ins • DSPs (Domestic Violence Service Providers) use a secure backend to track placements • RSPs offer subsidized units through our success-based placement model 🏠 Our Housing Model: All housing is subsidized, made possible through partnerships with DSPs, aligned funders, and values-driven institutions committed to survivor stability. Gida is currently being piloted in Chicago, with plans to expand regionally to meet demand in underserved communities. What’s Next: Gida is one of the first live features within our unified survivor support product. Coming soon: Kudi — a community marketplace feature designed to empower survivors in transition through commerce, resource exchange, and peer-to-peer support. Gida means “home.” And for many survivors, it’s the beginning of stability, dignity, and restoration.
