The Global Innovation Design Workshop is a comprehensive 6-week virtual training program tailored specifically for the repair and maintenance of biomedical equipment in Kenya. This capacity building program is provided to biomedical technicians and engineering students to improve their skills for the repair of equipment at their areas of work or study. The goal of the training is to increase the amount of operational equipment within Kenya, and later Africa.
