The Guangzhou Institute of Greater Bay Area (GIG) is an independent, non-profit think tank in China guided by Professor Dr. ZHENG Yongnian. Our mission is to promote the development of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) by providing consulting services for the public and enterprises. The establishment of GIG is to deal with current domestic and international developmental problems. Adhering to the core values of independence, objectivity, and effectiveness, GIG brings together scholars and practitioners with a global vision at home and abroad. We actively respond to major political, economic, and social issues in China and the rest of the world. We are committed to conducting innovative and professional policy research, advocating practical and effective policy alternatives and solutions, and improving the quality of public policies.
