GigMaven streamlines the booking process for musicians and venues. We realize that booking gigs is a time-consuming and often frustrating process, whether done in person, over the phone or via email. So we've created something that will allow both musicians and venues to fulfill all their booking and scheduling needs online. It's easy to use. And it'll save you time and money. GigMaven launched in beta in early 2008 in conjunction with GigFest '08, GigMaven's 1st annual charity music festival. GigFest '08 featured twenty six up-and-coming artists at six venues on the Lower East Side of New York City. All proceeds from the festival benefitted VH1 Save the Music, Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation and Global Music Project. GigMaven is privately funded and based in the East Village of New York City.
