What drove me to create Gingermint?
Year after year, I have seen the sadness and helplessness in the faces of new moms who have been denied the opportunity to hold their healthy newborn in the operating room after a c-section. This is mostly due to outdated hospital policies or the unavailability of the RN to ensure baby safety. For this reason, I have created a product, that allows moms to hold their baby skin to skin in the operating room safely. The Golden Hour, is the baby friendly term to allow mom and baby to have uninterrupted skin to skin contact for 1 full hour after birth. This unique 60 minutes, not only promotes bonding but helps baby to regulate its temperature and blood sugar while decreasing stress on the couplet.
I want every mom to have this bonding time they deserve.
