About GirlsCanHack

Girls Can Hack was born in 2014 becoming a pioneer organization. To this day, GCH is committed to close the gender Gap in cybersecurity and give visibility to issues that prevent women from starting or advancing their careers in the infosec sector The consequences of not having enough women in cybersecurity, specially in the technical arena, make the world less safe. The gap in diversity talent in cybersecurity positions has disastrous consequences which nowadays we can see in plain sight given the amount of successful cyberattacks performed by malicious actors around the world Digital security is more reactive than proactive, which is a losing game. The federal government, organizations and industry fall behind in making efforts to employ diverse cyber talent able to protect us citizens. Closing the gender gap would definitely help reaching the level of maturity and expertise that the field needs.
