The German-Indian Round Table (GIRT) is an informal platform for exchange of ideas and connecting businesses. It is run on an honorary basis. The Hamburg chapter of Hamburg was set up in 2000 and it is one of the co-initiators and co-organizers of the India Week Hamburg, which took place for the 11th time in June 2025.
GIRT has set itself the task to facilitate business relations between India and Germany. Indian and German business reprentatives and corporate leaders meet regularly in a casual atmosphere and exchange ideas, insights and knowledge. In addition to that, the German-Indian Round Table regularly offers information events about special topics.
