Imagist Labs, Inc. was formed by two friends with a common love of stories, imagery and technology in early 2013. We are based in San Francisco. We're building a new way for you to communicate with photos.
Josh Nguyen has built products for digital media, social networks and visual communications over ten years. He was Head of Product for Tumblr from late 2010 to 2012, where the company grew to be a top 20 Internet platform. He managed core product development at Flickr from 2007 to 2012. He was also an early product manager at SelectMinds, a professional social networking company acquired by Oracle.
Alaric Cole has worked with imaging technology for the last decade. His company, Soviet Montage, was the first producer of HDR video. He has released numerous iPhone apps, including the award winning Process and August. Alaric was a lead engineer for Yahoo, an early contributor to the YUI framework and an O’Reilly published author.
Keith Axline has been developing applications and projects since he was 15. Keith is also veteran photo editor at WIRED, where he launched WIRED’s photography blog Raw File in 2008, which has become one of the top photo blogs on the Internet.
