Paving equitable pathways for college and STEM: As a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, we bring together educational content partners, K - 12 students, and colleges to eliminate inequities in STEM education, raise awareness for career readiness, and provide underrepresented K - 12 students with a path toward higher education and economic mobility with early career exposure. We strategically offer programming in communities with little to no STEM exposure as we believe that creating a wider talent pool begins with early exposure in K – 12 for students to later seek out opportunities. GitStart builds the talent pool of South Florida’s future by creating bridges for the next generation of students.
