They say cats have nine lives. We give them one more! Our movement began in 2013 with a goal to save cat lives. Since then, we’ve increased the live-release rate of cats in shelters to over 95% in our region. We’re creating a better world for cats with our mascot Scooter the Neutered Cat leading the charge.
The research is clear: Spay/neuter is the simplest, most humane method for addressing feline overpopulation. Controlling overpopulation leads to fewer free-roaming cats and an end to shelter overcrowding. That means life, love and a home for every cat.
Funded by the Joanie Bernard Foundation, we work to increase spay/neuter, adoption, and foster in our community and beyond. How? Providing support, forging partnerships, and building a coalition with shelters, adoption/foster organizations, and spay/neuter clinics across the United States.
