GIZ Laos

As part of the German Development Cooperation, GIZ is supporting the Lao Government in reaching its ambitious development goals. GIZ implements projects in line with the Team Europe Strategy for Laos on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the European Union, Switzerland, the Green Climate Fund and other Partners. It focuses on three priority areas with the aim of promoting a green and fair transformation: Land management and natural resource conservation; Sustainable economic development; Good governance participates in regional programmes, e.g., with the Mekong River Commission and ASEAN.
