GK Training Services offers a Study Programme for young adults aged 16 - 18. We tailor our programmes to meet the individual needs of our learners. We provide a safe, positive and motivating learning environment and aim to prepare all our young adults for the world of work. Alongside this we enhance their everyday use of English and Maths to enable them to become more appealing to employers. We will also support any of our young adults with any personal/social difficulties they may face. We offer a discretionary bursary to our young adults that meet the required criteria. We aim to secure them a work placement after their induction and we will ensure this meets their chosen field of employment. Once they have achieved their study programme, we aim to ensure all our young adults progress in to employment, further training an apprenticeship or traineeship. Long after our young adults have left us they are always welcome back for any information, advice or guidance required. GK Training Services listens and effectively communicates with all our young people to promote an open, honest and trustworthy learning environment that appeals to all. Our traineeship programme is based around work placement and we offer this to 16 - 18-year olds at this current time. This is a natural progression from our study programme course. Although if competent this can progress onto if a young adult feels happy to without a study programme completion. A mandatory requirement of this course is a work placement to enable young adults to gain skills and confidence required to again employment. This is expected to be a natural progression from traineeship into employment or an apprenticeship. A traineeship lasts for a minimum of six weeks to a maximum of 26 weeks and in that time our young adults will have the opportunity to work towards qualifications that suit them individually.
