Glass Half Full was founded in 2020 by college students who were frustrated with the lack of glass recycling in New Orleans, Louisiana. We started with an idea, a backyard, and a commitment to always seeing the 'glass half full.' Just a few years later, we’ve now diverted millions of pounds of glass from landfills and converted it into sand and gravel for coastal restoration, disaster relief efforts, eco-construction, art, new glass products, and so much more!
