GlassDeep is a start-up that was set up in 2016 to carry out research and development work on the invention "Glazing unit for underwater objects". The invention was developed and patented (PL Pat.227109) all over the world. Our main product is an underwater window made from a specially designed multi-layer mineral glass, protected by a moving cover, creating a comprehensive underwater observation set. Such a set can be used in stationary units or vessels, for instance: yachts, observation and research units, service units, underwater hotels and restaurants, villas with an underwater room (salon/ bedroom), various kinds of fixed structures. Mineral glass is more effective and safe than windows made of acrylic in the form of monolithic blocks. Safety, great visibility, scratch resistance and long operating time are key features. The main assumption of our activities is the creation of an environment that would allow the users of the offered vessels to remain, live and work under water for an indefinite period of time, at the same time enjoying the views of the surrounding marine life, including coral reefs. In addition, our technology offers excellent conditions for underwater recreation and research work. The ecological materials that our products are made from shall allow sustainable exploration of the environment. In the catalogue of our innovative products, we include also: • Hybrid catamaran for underwater observations; • Floating and stationery units for underwater observations; • Underwater block for observation; • Floating villa with underwater apartment. Since March 2021, the company has had the ISO 9001: 2015 Certificate granted by DNV for the Testing of underwater windows in a special dedicated chamber, which means that we are able to deliver a complete product with the necessary certificates. Thanks to our facilities and experience we can adapt our solutions in the field of underwater technologies to the expectations of customers.
