About GlassLoop

GlassLoop is a project to demonstrate how to 'close the loop' on post-consumer glass in Malaysia. GlassLoop is supported by multiple users of glass and operated by Lasaju Consulting Sdn Bhd. Many of our favorite sauces and drinks are best packaged, stored and transported in glass. Malaysia has existing glass processing facilities to recycle (i.e. melt) glass over and over again. But currently Malaysia does not have a widely available collection system for post-consumer glass. We plan to 'close this loop' and make post-consumer glass bottles and jars a truly circular packaging material.
