Glass Sutra is India’s First Comprehensive Public Access Glass Art Studio with a mission to bring Glass Art and People together through experiences that are informative and inspiring. It is a state-of-the-art creative space, build over an area of 5000 sq.ft in New Delhi for all Art Lovers, Glass Artists, Enthusiasts of this art form & exponents from other creative fields. It gives them the liberty to follow their passion and indulge in their artistic expression. The Founder & Director, Reshmi Dey, worked all through her career as an independent commission artist, however, with Glass Sutra, she had in her mind to create collections that are Bespoke, Handcrafted and are examples of Functional Art. OBJECTIVES: • The initiative to promote education, awareness and appreciation about the glass art and craft in India. • Research and development towards new ideas, creativity and design. • Provide platform for artisans from Firozabad for skilled development and exposure. • Social outreach programmes to empowered the unprivileged and especially the girl child.
