Global Captive Management Ltd. (GCM) is a captive insurance manager. We pride ourselves on the experience, knowledge and passion that each of our team members brings to the captives we manage. Founded in the Cayman Islands in 1982 by Peter MacKay, GCM is now one of the largest captive managers in the world. We have experience in managing a vast array of captives in a variety of industries and structures, including segregated portfolio captives (“SPCs”), group captives, single parent captives and 953(d) and 831(b) elected captives. Our extensive knowledge, partnerships, flexible approach, and expertise in tax consequences related to the insurance captive industry help us provide objective and independent guidance for our clients.
