The AFS Global Competence Certificate is an innovative, digital education program that aims to develop global competence in students, staff and faculty around the world.
Different versions of the GCC program meet the needs of: students, staff or faculty, high school teachers and professionals across a variety of disciplines from around the world. The program can pair with study abroad programs (short and long term), courses, professional development and teacher continuing education.
Designed to support learners participating in an international experience, the Global Competence Certificate builds their global competence; the knowledge, skills, and understanding we believe are needed to create a more just and peaceful world.
