GERA specializes in the design and implementation of humanitarian emergency and development projects and programs. GERA is a federation of National non-governmental organizations operating in several countries. GERA is a network of organizations to respond to the humanitarian crisis within its member states and to meet the challenges of improving the social, economic, and cultural conditions of the populations. These are the following countries: Belgium, Kenya, DRC, Côte d’Ivoire, Chad, Burundi, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Benin, Uganda, Guinea, and Nigeria
