GET Technologies was founded to generate demand, and make readily available, renewable energy technologies for regions of the world where the shift to renewables has not yet gained significant momentum. The primary focus areas are solar photovoltaics and energy storage technologies in southeast Asia; a region with growing energy demands, significant average annual sunlight, and local solar PV manufacturers - yet high usage of, and dependency on, energy produced primarily by cheap and dirty coal. GET Technologies aims to transform energy markets through: 1) Education - training of technicians and engineers to international standards, enabling them design and install solar PV systems for both residential and small businesses in-region. 2) Demand Generation - create awareness of the environmental and sustainability issues associated with current energy production technologies - and the highlight the benefits, affordability, and applications of renewable technologies such as solar PV in-region. 3) Renewable Energy Projects - identify, organize and deliver solar PV installation projects using local resources in various market segments including: hospitality, schools, retail, small business, manufacturing, and residential.
