Global Goals Directory

The Global Goals Directory provides cities with a map of startups, organizations, and companies working on sustainability. For each ecosystem actor, we assess their contribution to the 17 U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. We have developed a novel artificial intelligence approach for the automatic identification and analysis of these ecosystem actors, based on web scraping and natural language processing. Our algorithms have been refined over hundreds of hours of research and tested on over 10,000 websites. To ensure accuracy of our automated process, results are carefully reviewed and verified by our team of SDG experts. Our methodology builds upon peer-reviewed and proven methods for SDG classification that have been developed by the European Commission's Joint Research Center and the TU Berlin and MIT.
