The International Press Institute started Global Journalist more than 30 years ago as a report about issues facing journalists worldwide. It evolved into a globally circulated quarterly magazine distributed by the Los Angeles Times for many years. Since 1998, Global Journalist has been produced by the Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Missouri.
Our content includes radio shows, text stories, videos and digital publications. We engage international journalists weekly in discussions about today's issues. Global Journalist Radio airs at 18:30 CT (23:30 UTC) on Thursdays on KBIA 91.3 FM, an NPR affiliate in Columbia, Missouri.
