Global Learning Lab (GL2i) is a youth leadership development organization driven by a conviction that young people everywhere can become social innovators locally, while contributing to a sustainable, common future globally. We believe that individual knowledge coupled with community-based, collaborative learning is key to youth empowerment, inclusion and resilience.
Through GL2i’s 2-day Leadership Academies (LA) led by local certified facilitators, future young leaders explore their mindsets and perceptions of leadership, and learn about communication, teamwork, sustainability and change management. Over several weeks, the LA participants develop Sustainable Impact Projects in their local communities. The projects are designed in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, and the youth are supported by local partner organizations (NGOs, schools, businesses, etc.) as they implement them.
Qualified alumni have the opportunity to become future Leadership Academy facilitators.
The GL2i is currently present in the US, Macedonia, Sri Lanka and Nepal, with new launches planned in Asia and the Balkans in 2025.
