Global Lifting Group

The Global Lifting Group represents the interests of many of Australasia’s leading lifting, rigging and height safety suppliers. The Global Lifting Group was established in 1997 by four small to medium sized businesses seeking to increase their purchasing power in order to be competitive with the major Lifting and Rigging Equipment suppliers operating in the Australian market. The goals were to combine our purchases and approach international suppliers under one name. As the aspirations were to seek international recognition, the name Global Lifting Group was registered. Soon after commencement Global Lifting made contact with major international manufacturers, including Thiele Chain (Germany), Bridon Ropes (UK) and DSR Corporation (Korea). Together with our foundation brands and products, we now represent major national and international suppliers, including our “Preferred Partners” PWB Anchor, Titan Lifting and Spanset Australia. Over the years Global Lifting Group’s membership has expanded to encompass all Australian states and territories, as well as SE Asia, positioning us well to service the Australasian market.
