Global Link Concern

Welcome to Global Link Concern. This is a nonprofit organization that exists to improve the social and economic well-being of needy communities especially those affected or infected by HIV/Aids while also having interest in the affairs of environment. The organization puts more efforts on environment since it is natural resource that sustain human and non-human as well, therefore, without a better environment, our future is in unstable state. One may wonder, as to what does this mean? Just think of your home, without the land (environment) where would you build you house, your office, do farming to produce food to sustain the world, the list goes on and on. So you can see the need as to why our organization has interest in making impact in environment As most African countries' economy base on agriculture, environmental protection is essential initiative. Environmental depletion affect many economic sectors, and causes climate changes, for example, when there is drought, young people are likely going to involve themselves in labour migration to other countries, in which their skills cannot effectively be used due to lack of proper documentation. As a result, they get jobs that pay them less money, just for survival, and this makes them unable to take care of their families back home. This situation leads to divorces of many marriages, which affect the children in terms of support for their education. The divorce of the parents' marriage affect much the children, especially the girls who easily drop schools and start hunting their support, engaging themselves in sexual immorality that destroys their future. In an effort to save the children, women engage themselves in agriculture in order to provide food and generate income. These are community challenges that affect everyone, in one way or the other. Looking into these problems, the concerned Malawians formed this organization to creating lasting solutions for sustainable environment in Malawi and beyond.
