From humble beginings in 1997, Global Machine Tools the sole distributor of DN Solutions and Matsuura CNC machine tools in New Zealand, sees things differently. We are dedicated to being the leading CNC Machine Tool Company in the country by being the most innovative and customer focused. This is driven by the brands and services we sell, the added value solutions we can offer, the technically able approach we apply, and the responsive customer focused support we provide. All of these factors and more have helped us achieve significant business growth over the past years.
It is also essential to identify one of the most important differences in our business, which is to supply a high quality product at a fair price. This focus has stayed paramount throughout, not only in our Machine Tools but also our Tooling and After-Sales Support buisness. Our responsibility is to make our clients market leaders in their own chosen fields and be more competitive on a world scale. We look to do business with partners rather than customers. With this key factor in mind backed by the increasing growth and domination of DN Solutions in the NZ market place, we were presented an opportunity to expand Global’s core business into the cutting tools sector.
Global Machine Tools tooling division officially opened in June 2008 with Sumitomo, a world leader in Carbide, Diamond and CBN Cutting Tools, BIG Daishowa, the worlds best Total Tooling System and PH Horn who dominate the worlds grooving industry. In June 2009 the sole distributorship of Guhring cutting tools from Germany was awarded. Guhring are regarded world wide as one of the most innovative and key producers of Drills, Taps & Endmills and are recognised as a "premium" product at an realistic price here in New Zealand.
In effect Global Machine Tools are now the only machine tool company in NZ that can offer their clients a total solution from tooling to full CNC turnkey 🙂
