UAE Global Management Challenge

Attention HR Managers, Talent Managers, University Faculty Members Participate in UAE Global Management Challenge www.managementchallenge.ae the world’s largest strategy and management competition for university students and professionals. The Competition focusses on experiential learning and comprises a management simulation where each team manages a virtual company over 5 quarters (3 weeks in real time) with the objective of achieving the highest investment performance for the company’s shareholders. Edition 5 of the competition is run under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and with the exclusive sponsorship of Al Futtaim Automotive Group. Prestigious institutions act as partners – Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation as knowledge partner and Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Dubai International Academic City as strategic partners. Learning outcomes Learning by doing – opportunity to practice management skills in a competitive real life like scenario. Learning from mistakes – mistakes in Competition are opportunities for learning; no real life losses. Experience real life constraints – participants make decisions for different management positions, allowing them to experience the constraints of their real life colleagues in other departments. Participation options Student teams may enter the Competition free. Professional teams may enter the Competition for a fee.
