Global Metals Pty Ltd was established in 1990 offering a range of locally produced and imported metals, concentrating on special steels, nickel alloys, titanium, aluminum and other exotic alloys.
In February 2009 Stemcor Australia Pty Ltd and Rod Gregory purchased equal shareholding in Global Metals.
Stemcor is the world’s largest independent steel trader. The company values its independence which enables it to work with different steel manufacturers worldwide and select the offers best suited to customers needs in terms of quality, delivery and price.
With over 30 years experience in the Steel Industry, Rod Gregory has held many General Management roles of specific divisions of large corporate entities and more recently owning and developing a leading private business in the steel industry.
Now combining the strengths of the new ownership with our proud history, Global Metals has relaunched our approach to this market.
