Global Nomad is a consulting company for responsible businesses, endeavors and initiatives in the Tibetan regions in Western China. As the first platform of services for Tibetan entrepreneurs, Global Nomad gives them the skills they need to develop economically and socially, contributing to the livelihoods of themselves and their communities. Our work is largely specialized in the mountaineering, responsible travel, contemporary art & handicraft, and environmental sectors unique to the region.
Since our beginnings in 2008 we have chosen to support, nurture and empower Tibetan entrepreneurs in the heart of Central Tibet, Yunnan, Sichuan, Gansu and Qinghai provinces. It is this spirit and dynamic for entrepreneurship that we hope will create a more positive and sustainable vision for our future.
