Effective risk management depends on solid risk analysis. The recent credit crisis as well as the many major accidents of the past decade clearly shows that the risk analysis tools we use today still have serious shortcomings. Global Risk Communication was founded in 2010 to take integrated risk management a leap forward into the future based on the innovative Q²XL concept that combines the leading quantitative and qualitative risk analysis methodologies and brings the two worlds of proactive and reactive risk management and analysis together in a single model. Q²XL is not a hybrid of quantitative and qualitative risk analysis on one hand and proactive and reactivate risk management and analysis on the other hand, but a composite in which the components - in their pure form - are ‘glued together’ and by seamless interaction provide a far better control over and insight into the relevant risk factors.
