Global Sur is an international development consultancy, created in 2024 with social purposes. It has its headquarters in Ecuador, and is registered as an NGO in Central America. It has a network of experts to implement programs in Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Its management and consulting team has extensive experience implementing technical assistance programs in more than 25 countries in the LAC region and Africa, in collaboration with implementing partners from USAID, bilateral and multilateral agencies, United Nations Agencies, and international NGOs.
Global Sur Group's value proposition is based on two main aspects:
1) It was founded in response to the need for the Latin American region to have implementing partners created and based in the same region. All of this, with the objective of directly implementing international development programs in the LATAM region, with the highest technical and managerial capacity that will help strengthen and promote local leadership.
2) Based on our team’s experience, we will build capacity in other NGOs and local implementing partners, who do not yet have the appropriate technical, financial, operational and managerial capacities to efficiently implement international cooperation programs.
