We recognise that the best way to achieve this is to support local solutions that are led by local experts and aligned with national health systems. That is why we prioritise funding projects that are initiated and implemented by local partners in collaboration with Germany-based experts. We also believe that educating and training medical personnel is a key element of our mission, along with providing medical and non-medical resources.
We are the voice of global surgery in Germany. We organise conferences and workshops to facilitate networking and knowledge exchange among professionals in the field. We also promote research on global surgery at German institutions and their international partners.
