Global China Academy UK-based independent worldwide fellowship that encourages global and comparative studies on China in the social sciences and humanities. Global China Academy (GCA), formerly CCPN Global and Global China Institute, has registered with the Charity Commission as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO, Charity No. 1198983) for replacement of the existing charity (Charity No. 1154640). GCA is a UK-based independent worldwide fellowship that encourages global and comparative studies on China in the social sciences and humanities. Taking language-based global and comparative perspectives, it aims to add to the sum of human knowledge (see: Global Century Press —— An academic position for China to connect with the world). It also encourages participation in global society building and governance (see: Global China Dialogue —— A discourse platform for facilitating communication between the Chinese and the rest of the world). All these goals are pursued through the dissemination of academic research, knowledge transfer, social consultancy, and public engagement.
