A Bit About Us
The Ancient Grain Company, started in a kitchen in South Cambridgeshire back in 2021 as the brain child of our founder Ashleigh, who came across Amaranth grain after researching for healthy and Gluten- free food options to feed her, at the time 8 month old twins, who were being treated for suspected coeliac disease and were lactose intolerant. They were also very fussy eaters and having been born premature, the boys were under a Dietitian who highly rated and recommended we strived to offer them a balanced and healthy diet that included grains such a Amaranth.
