About Global Infectious Disease
Infectious disease is one of the top problems facing the global community. The Master's of Science and PhD programs in Global Infectious Disease (GLID) foster an interdisciplinary learning environment that emphasizes that combating these diseases requires a range of tools. Infectious disease epidemiology, advanced computational modeling for surveilling disease transmission, public policies focused on improving health, and effective medical countermeasures are but a few. With an emphasis on the intersection between policy and biological sciences, Global Infectious Disease is the only program in the United States to offer an opportunity to train in infectious disease modeling at the master's and doctoral level.
