Founded in 1986, Global Kiara is a Malaysia-based family office with decades of entrepreneurial experience in setting up, operating, merging and acquiring businesses in ASEAN and China.
The founders of Global Kiara were pioneers in the manufacturing of switchgears and substations for Tenaga Nasional Berhad in the 1990s, building and growing a local brand to be certified and accepted by our national power utility company.
Global Kiara’s 30 years of experience in power utility spans from building businesses from the grid to the renewable energy space. Global Kiara have also completed several mergers & acquisitions as part of its portfolio of companies – a notable M&A involved a multinational company, Toshiba Corporation.
