The Global Markets Group (GMG) at the University of Virginia is a McIntire School of Commerce-affiliated student organization that actively manages a $10,000 global equities portfolio. Weekly meetings feature discussions relating to current events in international financial markets, updates on our stock portfolio, and skill-building workshops for members to learn the basics of equity valuation and industry research. GMG strives to help students from all backgrounds learn about investing and develop the tools helpful to launching a career in finance.
