Global Middas Foundation

The Global Middas Foundation is a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating positive change across key human development areas. As a leading NGO, the foundation is spearheading seminal initiatives in healthcare, education, sustainable ecosystems, and skilling. In the healthcare domain, the foundation is launching campaigns to combat issues like drug abuse and cancer, while also establishing mobile cancer detection vans, general health check-up vans, and eye care camps to serve underserved communities. The foundation's focus on preventive and holistic healthcare extends to setting up Global Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy (GYAN) centers in rural areas. On the education front, the Global Middas Foundation is working to provide quality learning opportunities for underprivileged children. It is establishing study centers to enroll slum children in the National Open Schooling system and offering coaching for 10th, 12th, and competitive exams. The foundation also plans to set up specialized institutes for Sikh and Buddhist studies to preserve rich cultural traditions. As part of its sustainable development efforts, the foundation has launched the Satkarmik Vedic Gram (SVG) Foundation to promote organic farming, establish gaushalas (cattle shelters), and develop agro-tourism in rural areas. This aligns with the Global Middas Foundation's vision of creating an ecosystem where all stakeholders come together to build and improve socio-economic infrastructure. Skilling and livelihood generation are other key focus areas for the foundation. It is undertaking initiatives to provide employment opportunities, especially for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as supporting artists and artisans to help them earn a sustainable income.
