Global Shapers Nagpur

Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of more than 450 hubs across 150 countries, spearheaded by young leaders who are exceptional in their potential, their achievements, and their drive to make a contribution to their local, regional and global communities, economy and the planet. The Nagpur Hub of the Global Shapers Community is a phenomenal team of young students & professionals---diverse in its age, gender, religion and background. The hub has consistently amplified the size of its impact on the local and regional communities over the past 6 years, primarily by raising awareness and stimulating action around climate change, menstrual hygiene & poverty, fostering social entrepreneurship, enabling and normalising carbon offsetting for small and medium-sized enterprises, dissecting noteworthy (draft) policies & advocating for sustainable growth models, championing behavioral change for water conservation, tackling the mental health challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic etc.
