Global Shapers Oslo

Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional, and global challenges. With more than 14,000 members, the Global Shapers Community spans 456 city-based hubs in 150 countries. Global Shapers Oslo (GSO) is part of the Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum, and is Norway's only hub. GSO was established by HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit in 2012 and today consists of young executives and alumni with diverse backgrounds in entrepreneurship, management, law, medicine, IT, etc. It is a goal for GSO to be a diverse group so that members can contribute different perspectives, experiences and knowledge. The purpose of GSO is to work on projects initiated by the hub which create positive impact in the local community, as well as contribute to the members' own projects. Global Shapers Oslos motto is: Think big. Start young. SHAPE the world. We believe in exceptional achievements, leadership potential, and commitment to making a difference. Shapers come from all walks of life but share a spirit of entrepreneurship in the public interest.
