Global Shapers Porto Alegre

The Global Shapers is a community of young leaders, conceived by World Economic Forum, who seek to promote positive impact in their cities through local development projects. The Porto Alegre Hub brings together young professionals from various fields who volunteer to build a fairer, sustainable, and diverse world. In over 10 years of existence, we have carried out numerous projects addressing issues related to urban mobility, the integration of young people from marginalized areas into the job market, combating COVID, sustainable lifestyle, and we are constantly seeking new initiatives that can generate social, environmental, or economic impact in our city. In addition to Porto Alegre, there are over 500 hubs spread across dozens of countries around the world - including 18 others in Brazil.
