Global XI wants to provide an alternative voice more in line with grassroots football fans. We offer a platform for fans, writers and users to engage in reciprocal communication with other users and ourselves, as we respond to the major stories from global football. With the rise of football Fan TV channels and other fan websites, there is a clear indication football fans place value on hearing from other fellow fans and enjoy being part of a more reciprocal conversation. There has been a paradigm shift in where and how football fans consume news and media. Fans have begun to feel disenfranchised by a lot of modern punditry, worsened by restrictive television deals, and have turned to alternative online platforms to watch and engage with the sport they love so much. We are small team of freelance content creators located all over the world who have a passion for football. Our diverse group has backgrounds in writing, graphic design, website management, video editing, and voice-over acting.
