About GLOBE Exercise
GLOBE started as a multi-day virtual collaboration exercise that has been organised every semester since 2013 by a group of students from the International Relations and Management BA programme at the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule. It is planned and carried out together with international students and experts. During the exercise, the participants deal with a United Nations Humanitarian Crisis Mission in different roles and scenarios and are required to develop and apply solutions jointly. Adapting to a changing environment GLOBE now offers three different types of exercises. Next to the well established GLOBE exercise, students now offer the GLOBE Tabletop as a preparation exercise and the GLOBE InSight as an intelligence exercise in a competition environment.
