A Public Limited Company with a family background and run professionally, Globe (India) Limited is an export house with its textiles and fabrics being marketed globally across several countries. With it's head quarters in Kolkata, India, the company began its export division in the year 1993. Initially, the production was focussed more on fabrics suited for apparel. From the year 2000, the company has diversified into to home textiles for primarily residential purposes, which now comprises core business. Having started with silk as the main fibre in it's productions, Globe has now expanded into linens, cottons, polyesters and various blended fabrics, best suited for for drapery, light upholstery and accessories. The collections are designed by a team of qualified designers in combination with various design studios in Europe. Globe believes in a professional outlook and premium quality products.
